Formally known as Aster novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard'

The common name for this group is New York Aster.    

One of the most striking and popular varieties with soft blue double flowers and golden centers.

Grow in sun or partial shade.

Good cut flower.

Mulch the soil around each plant to reduce dryness at the roots to prevent mildew

Cut back to the ground in late autumn. Divide in spring every third year to maintain vigour 

Attractive to bees and butterflies.

Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10 cm pot.
