Formerly Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate'
Common name Snakeroot.
Not only does this plant have beautiful chocolate coloured foliage and deep purple stems it also has long lasting clusters of creamy white flowers in late summer that are a good food source for insects such as bee's and butterflies.
Height 90cm. Spread 75cm.
Grows best in sun and moist soils.
Cut back to the ground in winter or early spring.
Attractive to butterflies.
Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10cm pot.
